Cyclonic Mist Eliminators
Cyclonic mist eliminators are best used as pre-filtering devices. The Cyclonic mist eliminator is a patent-pending pre-filtering device used in conjunction with conventional mist collectors. It will work with any type of mist collection system: centrifugal, media or electrostatic.
The cyclonic mist eliminator is a cyclonic separating system. The mist laden air is drawn through a cylinder that contains stationary vanes which generates a turbulent effect that forces the heavy mist droplets to the outer wall of the capture chamber. The collected mist is now in liquid form and recycled directly back into the machine reservoir.
Longer Filter life
When installed properly, the cyclonic mist eliminator can be up to 90% to 95% efficient in removing oil or coolant mist from the air stream. This results in cleaner exhausted air and longer filter life. Extending the filter life of conventional mist collectors saves money and reduces overall maintenance costs.
The cyclonic mist eliminator is all steel welded construction and powder-coated with an epoxy finish. There are no filters to replace and no parts that will wear out. It is completely washable, and built to last. It works superbly at collectoring all types of water-based or petroeum-based coolants.
