need a high efficiency, portable unit to collect smoke, dust, and fumes at
the source. Two models are available to meet individual requirements.

Single Cartridge WeldAir™
 |
Designed for normal to intermediate duty
applications, choose the single cartridge unit when you need to periodically
collect and filter dust and fumes from grinding and dry welding operations,
such as TIG, MIG, and stick welding. Large 10" wheels let you roll the
WeldAir™ over and around cables and rough floor spots to your work area.
Operation is easy! Position the externally supported 6" diameter,
10-foot long, mechanical pick-up arm over the work area and turn on the
unit. The industrial-grade, direct-drive, 11/2 HP, fan-cooled blower motor
provides 1,000 CFM of airflow. Dirty air flows to the bottom of the unit
dropping larger particles to the dust drawer, and smaller particles flow
upward into the cartridge filter. Aercology supplies WeldAir™ units with
DuraAer™ filter cartridges. Maintenance is quick! Hook up to any standard
90 psi shop air and use the jet-pulse blow-down to clean the filter. Options
include HEPA and carbon after-filters, in-hood light kit, and in-hood
light/remote power switch kit.

Twin Cartridge WeldAir

Twin Cartridge WeldAir™
Designed for the collection and filtration of dry particulate in heavy
duty grinding and welding applications, choose the twin cartridge WeldAir™
when you constantly need to collect large volumes of dust and fumes. This
unit has the same features as the single cartridge unit but includes twin
DuraAer™ cartridge filters and an automatic timer for controlled
pulse-down cleaning. Twin cartridge filters provide 370 sq. ft. of filter
area. Nominal CFM is 1,000. |
