| The air inside most
manufacturing plants is filled with contaminants. Airborne particulate
settles on work surfaces and equipment, damaging sensitive electronic
controls, servomotors, and CNC drives of capital equipment.
Cartridge Filtration systems clean the air in a variety of applications
like laser cutting, welding, dry machining, grinding, and deburring.
Choose a Cartridge Filtration system when you need to collect fine
airborne dust, like plastic powder, bulk dusts, and dry fumes. We
offer a variety of Cartridge Filtration systems for different applications; the CF Series for
intermittent duty, portability or applications requiring an overhead
ducted or unducted system and the CX Series for permanent, indoor or
outdoor applications, with higher airflows, and/or continuous duty
requirements. |
| The CX Series is
ideal for permanent, indoor or outdoor applications, large airflow, and
continuous duty requirements. |

CX Series
The CX Series Air Filtration
systems work as stand-alone units or partner with existing manufacturing
processes to collect in-plant airborne dust and particulate. During normal
operations contaminated air enters from the top of the CX collector and
passes down through the filter cartridges. Dust collects on the outside of
the filter. Filtered air flows through the center of cartridges into the
clean air plenum and exits through the outlet. Maintenance is easy! A
solid state control timer and solenoid valve provide quiet, automatic, and
sequential filter cleaning. The self-contained valves are protected from
environmental elements to insure productive operations. Accessible filter
covers make filter changes quick and simple. No tools required! Just
unscrew the integral knob, remove the cover, and replace the filter
cartridge. DuraAer™ filter cartridges are standard with the CX Series.
If an application requires a different type of cartridge filter, then just
choose another one from our broad selection of filter cartridges.
The CX Series is available with
2, 4, 6, 9, and 12 filter cartridges. Choosing the size of the collector
depends on the application and CFM requirements. Standard cabinet features
include an integrated hopper, hopper outlet slide gate with flex hose and
drum cover, and mounted, pre-wired control-box with magnehelic gauge.
Multiple inlet collars and locations support a variety of ductwork, and
leg heights accommodate the employment of a 5-gallon pail, a 30 or
55-gallon drum. CFM capabilities range from 500 to 7500.

| The CF 1500 is built
into a freestanding cabinet for intermittent duty and portability. |
 |
CF Series
The CF Series offers two types of units: cabinet or overhead systems.
The CF 1500 Series is provided in freestanding cabinets. Just choose
your inlet layout, four options are available, and collection method,
ductwork or source-capture arms. See Aercology's exclusive line of AEX
Extraction Arms for diameters and arm lengths. Units include two DuraAer™
filter cartridges, an industrial grade 3 HP motor and non-overloading,
backward-curved airfoil blade plug fan, convenient front filter access,
magnehelic gauge for easy maintenance, and two removable collection
drawers to contain particles released after automatic, pulse-jet cleaning
of filter cartridges. Options include a hopper for direct collection of
particulate into a drum or other airtight storage container and a caster
kit for portability. Nominal CFM is 1500. |
 |
The CF 3000 mounts
overhead
as unducted or ducted unit. |
| The CF 3000 Series are
overhead units with two collection choices: unducted (ambient collection) or
ducted with arms or with hard ducts. The unducted unit captures the ambient
air within its 2.75 square foot intake area; the inlet flange increases
air-gathering capabilities. The ducted units source-capture the air and its
contaminants. Choose from hard ducts or flexible arm assemblies. The CF
3000 Series includes four DuraAer™ filter cartridges, high capacity
21" deep hopper for keeping large particles away from DuraAer™
cartridges, front filter access, and a self-cleaning, pulse jet system.
Direct-drive blowers are available with either a 3 HP or 5 HP motor. Both
blowers are non-overloading, backward-curved airfoil blade plug fans,
which increase static pressure and extend filter life. Nominal CFM is
3000. |
